Stabbed?

Have you being stabbed recently, or ever? I’m sure we all have, at least I have, several times I must remark.

When you don't even think about it, you got it. Aaaaaah! What a pain!!! Men! That hurts! ... And you feel defeated, sad, discouraged, and so so so mad at yourself and to the person who stabbed you. But let me share something from my experience, I have learn to perceived who can do it and who cannot or maybe will not do it to you. I have learn to keep away from people who, maybe, I say hi, and hang out, but I don’t open my heart to that person, and I just pray he/she eventually learn to be honest and transparent; even if the person come to you and ask you to forgive him/her, I do because my Father do the same for me every day, but I just keep the distance. Drama is very easy to get along, suddenly without knowing it, you have become part of a drama with someone else. That's why we have to be very carefully. As for me, now I wear a bulletproof vest, and 3D glasses to see beyond, if you know what I mean.

Don't let this all stabbed situations make you down or insecure.
Be yourself, people who really know you, will love you still.
Just be cautious from others.
The lack of values nowadays is very common and just a few like we are around.

Dealing with Whom?

Who are we dealing with? What are we dealing with? Good questions, right? At the end I believe the answer is simple... the world? The answer is many kind of people who want us be good and prosper and also mean people who desires is not quite as good as we’d like; but here is the thing, no matter what they want for us, no matter what they say to us, if we know WHO is the ONE who is right in front of us as our big boss, as far as we accept the fact He is with us all the time, and our faith make us stronger in Him, nothing bad is going to be successful.

We are dealing with all king of situations at this very moment, the question is: are we allowing that negativity come upon us? Or are we rejecting all that and at the same time making that negativity hit the wall of our negation because we know in WHOM we believe and who is our defender?

God is our defender as Romans 8:31 declares: “What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?

Help Others Win

Last night I was bored. Didn't want to watch tv, didn't want to read... but I did want to do something before go to bed, so I watch a podcast of Joel Osteen and thank God I watched it, it was a blessing. He was talking about how to Help Others Win. That brought me to think how God bless me every day even if I am not the way He would like me to be. But the truth is as you act you will received, sooner than later. When I receive from friends a blessing let's say an invitation to dinner, an extra job, or whatever else, I feel the love of God and how He take cares of me always; I remember when I help this person with a situation, or just make an easy way to this other because it needed to be... at the end what ever you do for Other you will win more blessings and it will bring more situations to become someone important at that particular moment.

Don't ever stop being who you are... but if think you can become a better person, work on that.

Being a Blessing!

You know you live in the tropics when your baby’s dirty diaper smells like mango!

It is mango season in Costa Rica.There are about five different types of mangos that I have been able to identify and consume in the last 4 weeks. We have made mango pie, mango bread, mango smoothies, mango juice, mango popsicles, dried mango, fresh mango and mango lasi. After eating 3 courses of mango dishes yesterday Dennis brought home my favorite kind “mango Rosa” I ate two! Imagine a rose infused mango, that is what they taste like, and I hope they have them in heaven. Did I mention it is avocado season too! Our grocery bill has gone way down this month as you can imagine!
You may remember the saga of my oven.I love to bake and an oven was one of the things that we had been on the lookout for since we moved here. Dennis bought me one for Mother’s Day last year and it was a bit of a disaster, it even caught on fire at one point leaving me oven less again.About 4 months after that a friend gave us their old electric oven from the 70’s and it was amazing!I became the official birthday cake baker for the neighborhood. A few ladies mentioned wanting to learn to bake so I had them over one day showed them how to do yeast bread, cookies and biscuits. I also gave each of them a sack of flour so they could try at home. Little did I know that this was to be our first step into being a blessing by establishing micro-enterprises. Over holy week a local boy came to my door selling homemade bread. Not only was it delicious, a rarity in Costa Rica, but it was made by one of the ladies who had come to my house that day! I saw her later that week and complimented her on her baking skills. She told me what a blessing her little business has been to her family, enabling her to buy her three children the books and pencils they needed for school.

A Time for Everything

1 There is a time for everything,

Just trust, even in bad times, because from personal experiences, yes experiences, I have learned that in bad times you reach wisdom, patience, love, mercy, perseverance, and overall you will know who commands your life, which I must say you will be surprise! Nevertheless, in a coming future someone will need from your experiences.

Sooner then Later

Being happy, and having the greatest time of your life. Sooner then later love, happiness, peacefulness will knock of the door for those who are waiting. In the mind time, live your life at its best so you can have some good stories in a coming future.

Sadness is always part of life, but its up to you how long it lasts.

BIRTHDAY

Birthday, a few weeks ago was telling a friend, that a birthday is something to be celebrated to thank God for brought us into this world at this time.

Since I have use of my conscience, I tried to live to the fullest, moving away from the drama, or trying to be as far as possible of it, enjoying every moment, alone or with company, when something unexpected comes out as a casual invitation to dinner or to go to see a tournament, or just hanging out at home watching TV, I try to take the time because it is never the same, no matter if you make the "same" for several days, there is always something new or different every day.

One of my best friends told me yesterday among other words "... never lose that smile and that incredible authentic way of seeing life,..." and I wonder: Is that I've seen so many things both here and there, moments lived, misfortunes, sorrows, disappointments, assaults, and countless times ... it makes me incredibly happy to see life so differently? away from the drama of society, leaving for me an endless comments towards others, by offering my friendship to those who deserve it or earn it by being genuine people; that I get the tatty little girl, with character and proud occasionally ? well, yes, and by that I do not want to take me on an altar, I am not holy to idolize me, I'm as imperfect as everyone in this world,what I DO try is always to make a difference wherever I am. Be transparent, without double masks, in my home alone, or with my family, friends, boyfriend, or people who I do not know, because I know that will mark their lives forever.

I always give thanks to God for the privilege of life, and everything that brings ... because of her I learned to laugh, mourn, and love, ignore and command respect, and respect. I love life, love my life.
