Be Solid

Be solid as a rock! whenever the enemies surround us, fear not! cause we are solid as a Rock! this is a part of a song but I think goes according with the Word of God.

If you help somebody, you're solid! If you make that drunk person wants to be sober again and follow Jesus...you are solid! If your smile makes a difference... you are solid! If you are an example to others, then you are solid!

Make sure your life, no matter what, makes a difference whenever you are, and be a solid person in Christ!

Matthew 7:24-25

Ephesians 6:10 - The Armor of God

The Armor of God
10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

19Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

Options

what options do we have? Live a life with no goals? Live a life with no regrets? Live a life with a full agenda? Spend all the money 'cause anyway we are not taking it when we die? Do something about the world? ...etc! There are millions of options to take but not all are the best to each one of us, right? We all are diferent from each other, either our way to be or think or our gifts... but all of us got the OPTION to follow the ONE Lord and Savior, Jesuschrist! The best option we have and we can share to the rest of the people.

Who do you surf for? Its up to you ... Who do you dance for? Its up to you... Who do you live for? __________________

Be Happy - Live the Life

Why? How? When? What? are questions that we wonder every day for many reasons. Its there any answer to those questions? sometimes no, but I think eventually the answer will come ... men! how hard is when you want to have a good life, but if life is easy I dont think no body will appreciate it as good as we do when we pass through tough times.

Life is no easy but when is easy is not fun and if its not fun it will not have a reason to live it.

Someone tonight ask me how I do to look so young? my answer was be happy no matter what.

So, my advice today is be happy even when you are crying ... how you look is not all but can cause good vibes to others when you smile.

Pura Vida

Pura vida means for me: Living a great life every minute. No matter the tests or hard times, if you consider yourself blessed, then your life is gonna be Pura vida! Knowing that God has everything under control.

He has gave us life to live it in abundance= Pura vida life!!! Let's take advantage of all the good things God give us every day.

July = Good Vibrations

People comes and goes. Boys grow up bringing lots of emotions, tests, and success as well. The forever living Word spread all over. Visits from all over the world fill the property of Jaco with joy, enthusiasm and good vibrations!

I have to thank God for my 5month housemate Sean, he became to be like the little brother I never had. He's now back home, but the days were amazingly funny. Sean is a great guy, super smart, I never met a person who read so much! Which I believe is a good thing.

Beverly, Josh, Brandon, Sean, Suzanne, Katie, Javiera, Bistro ...these people put a mark on my heart... such a great people! I miss them already... they dont know, but I love them... all together means Smoothies, night walks, long talks, Marea Alta, Los Pibes, Hip hop class, and much more... they filled my life with a lot of good vibes.

Skaters boys Lenin and Cristian...these boys are now becoming part of the people CS Jaco chapter supports. They are participating in a national skateboard circuit which they have put the name of Jaco high ... in June they went to San Jose and won. Three weeks ago they went to Liberia the first tournament of the circuit and the won, last weekend they went to San Jose again to also compete and they won!! and now they are going to Del Coco Beach and they are willing to put everything they have to win... I have being support them in any way I can... and is such a great feeling of satisfaction when I got a text message of gratefullness from them...letting me know they won...uf! its great! the greatest is that I thank God just because these boys come to the ramp and Thurdays nite, they skate and later stay for the Bible Study. Isnt this great?? God is the only glorified here... Im just His servant.

Newsletter May-June

Lots of rain, lightning, eclipses, heat, big waves, good people and kids events. That's a little of what May and June has brought, plus some changes in my life.

It's been an interesting days here at the property receiving so many different missionaries, great people I have to say and good friends. Spending hard yet funny time... a PuraVida life style for few days, or months. Even though I feel sometimes overwhelmed cause of the lack of my private life, I'm bless just for the fact I met this great people... I'm thinking in moving to an apartment or house but meanwhile I'm here I know I'll be bless for this different kind of young people...

A few days ago I got this phone call from a lady referred from a friend, asking for help in this Kid event for a school in Turubares. I said, yes of course, how can I help? She asked only for chairs and some volunteers. We did so. I had to be at the office at 10am, so I woke up at 7am, and get some chairs, some football balls, and voila! The kid event was a great success!!! Not because we got the chairs, pfff not at all! ... but because when someone like this girl takes time and dedication to spend a day with some kids ... it's all worth it!

Now, Bible studies in Jaco have changed... the nights now are Thursday 7.30pm, first I thought if this would be a good idea, cause since I remember Wednesdays have been the days for Bible meetings, but I have to do it... so I did! and thank only to God its being a bless... people are assisting, and I have being able to give the message and share with the boys and girls...

Last June 21st was the Go Skateboarding International Day, basically a day to skate ... celebrated all over the world. Here, in Jaco chapter we have a good skaters like Marlon, Lenin, Willy and some others, the ones who we support with the skate contest every three months, and this date was not the exception. Marlon came one day to ask me if I would help him writing a letter to ask for support to certain people, like Chris from Los Amigos, Billy from B&B Surf and Skate Shop, W.O.W. and more, of course I told him I would help him for sure, but thank God also I could support him with some money from CS to facilitate them transportation and food expenses, Chris from Los Amigos did it as well... and when they came back to town, they told me Marlon got 4th position in the skate ramp division with some others locals fro SJ. I was so bless and happy to see their faces of satisfaction and thankfulness.

I have so much more to tell you, but for now I will keep it like that for a future newsletter.
